Update 4/14/25

WOW! Time seems to fly by. It has been way too long since my last post. I have far more things going on than one can imagine. I’ve built a 20′ x 12′ deck off our back porch. I plan to make an outdoor kitchen on the north side of it. With the portch, it’s a total of 20′ x 17′. It’s taken a lot of my time.

To add to that, I’ve really gotten into griddling, as I mentioned in my last post. Thus, I want to make my outdoor kitchen. I’m enjoying the “adventure.”

On top of that, I’ve taken up the hobby (possibly soon to be a business) of restoring cast iron. Initially, I used a tremendous amount of elbow grease. I was about to give it up, until I built an electrolysis tank. Initially, I didn’t know how difficult it would be, based on the info I had. After researching it thoroughly, I decided to build one. Praise be to God! It makes restoring my cast iron “easy-peasy.”

In addition to all that … we’ve been dealing with health issues with my wife. She’s been told that her kidneys are functioning at 10%, which is Stage 5 kidney disease. We are looking into dialysis, and she will be put on a transplant list. Your prayers are much appreciated.

I’ll add another entry here soon. Hopefully, sooner than it took for this update. I’m on Facebook the most, follow me there. Currently, I have over 15,000 followers (at the time of this post).

Until next time … see you at the top!

May God bless you abundantly, and make you a blessing to others!
